PROUDLY AUSTRALIAN MADE

Handcrafted in Western Australia's Great Southern

Nestled in the base of the 1200 million-year-old Porongurup Range is where you'll find Woodlands Distillery. Converted from an old shearing shed with panoramic views of the mountains and landscape before it. You could not find a better, more fitting space to nurture and develop Australian spirits.

Still at Australian distillery

We grow our own cereal grains which are used in the production of the alcohol.

Our water is sourced from natural spring water at the base of a 1200 million-year-old mountain range and is some of the purest water you can find. Pure water makes for great spirits.

Where we can, we work with local botanicals to fragrance our spirits.

THE MAKING OF OUR SPIRITS

Hands holding grain

WE HAVE A LONG-TERM MISSION TO BE MORE SUSTAINABLE.

Water

With the bi product water that occurs from producing the alcohol we are able to distribute it back out onto the adjoining paddocks to water our crops and pastures.

Grow our own grains and re-purpose our waste

The mash waste (to put simply, it's the used grain) that occurs from distilling, we are able to feed out to our friendly cattle in the surrounding paddocks.

Up-cycling where we can

Up-cycling may not have been something planned, but it has become a part of who we are as a company. For example, the distillery building is made from the old shearing shed, and the bar is made from a fallen Marri tree from the property.

Absolutely stunning! We popped in over the weekend for a tasting paddle & the warm welcome from Mum & Daughter duo was incredible. Thank you so much for your beautiful vibes, stunning setting & amazing spirits!

Amber

Fantastic experience! Peter was so welcoming and explained the whole process for us. We did the 3 shot tasting, as a non-gin drinker, I was surprised to fall in love with the sleeping lady gin. A holistic and all Australian flavour with ingredients sourced 100% locally. We look forward to returning next year when the whiskey is ready to come out the barrel!

Jamie

What a fantastic hidden gem. Great views with excellent tastings and food. Peter was amazing with his knowledge and service. Highly recommended to make a stop here if near Porongurup.
